Through Transnational access, the ExpeER project intends to boost the acquisition and the delivery of high-quality data of process responses over a range of environments which will eventually fill knowledge gaps and will provide a solid basis to properly validate models capable of predicting the likely impact of climate change on ecosystems and eventually assess their mitigation / adaptation potentials. The services offered by such Transnational Access clearly go beyond the current availability of resources and initiatives which are available at the national scale. The infrastructure will use different methodologies applied across different biomes (shrubland, forest, agriculture, grasslands) of considerable ecological and agronomic importance. It will offer a range of options capable of attracting a wide range of expertises and ideas from external users.
